  #Toottiyinmakan “Scavenger’s Son”   This is a very challenging story to read about the lives of the Manual Scavengers who lived in Kerala. They were taken from tamilnadu to Kerala to do menial Jobs in the society finally they were pushed into this inhuman task.  For generations they were fighting for their lives and dignity. But they were oppressed and Ostracized in the community.  They were not considered as humans, they were treated as animals. The importance of Inter-Faith dialogue           We live in a world which is multi-religious. Religion has become an important component in the lives of the people. According to the statement of an NGO in India, Religion has paved the way for violence. In their report they have mentioned, “In the name of religion many people have been killed and attacked in India.” Yes when we look into this current world, violence is high in the name of religion. The main aspect of a religion is to live a happy life, respecting fellow humans and creation. But, what we are doing? As we live in a multi-cultural and multi-religious country, we encounter other religious people in our day today life. Our lives are inter-connected with all people.
